Please only enter one link per day in comments for an extra entry, but feel free to post about rescue dogs with the #DogKarma hashtag as often as you’d like, because, of course, the goal is to raise awareness about adoptable rescue dogs!

My favorite tv/movie dog is from the movie “Lake House.” She’s a cute light tan stray mutt that “adopts” her people on the movie & they call her Jac.
We named our tan shepherd mix after her. We often are asked if “Jac” is short for Jacqueline, after they find out she’s female, and we explain where we got the name. :)

My sister is a Labrador rescuer. I am thinking of becoming involved myself and think this would really help me to get started. Thanks!

My favorite tv/movie dog has always been Benji. He was a stray who needed a home and I always knew that I would adopt dogs so one less dog is homeless or abused.

I would have to say Scooby-Doo! He kind of reminds me of my dog Bronco that loves to eat. :)

Marley is my most recent favorite, my son will not watch movies with me anymore because of how I cried :(

My favorite dog is the German Shepard Sam from the film I Am Legend. She was a hunter, a healer, a friend and the only living compnaion to Will Smith’s character. Her loyalty reminds me of my rescued mutt, Buffy, who rescued my daughter (when she was a toddler) after she had jumped into our swimming pool. Buffy pulled her out of the water by her shoulder and did not even leave a mark on her:)

Thats easy…. Lassie!
